You use the magnetic filter frame to use your square GND filters of 150x170mm with the Kase 150 Armour magnetic system. You simply place the filter in the magnetic frame and then attach it to the holder. The edges of the frame are finished in such a way that no light from the side and back enters the image. This prevents annoying reflections.
