    The Kase Wolverine magnetic MCUV filter is intended as a protective filter against scratches and dirt for your lens.

    The MCUV has an external thread and is screwed directly onto the lens WITHOUT a magnetic adapter ring (or a screw-in step-up ring in between).
    Magnetic ND filters can be placed on the MCUV via magnetism. The magnetic MCUV replaces, as it were, the magnetic adapter ring. This way your lens will always be protected against dirt and scratches.
