The Kase MovieMate Stackable ND Filter Master kit is typically used for video and includes a stackable ND filter holder and four color-coded ND filters ( black ND2 0.3 1-stop, purple ND4 0.6 2-stop, blue ND8 0.9 3-stop and gold ND64 1.8 6-stop). Each filter can be used separately or filters can be combined to increase the number of stops. The system, as the name clearly suggests, consists exclusively of ND filters and is suitable for lenses up to 82mm.
In the holder it is possible to combine up to 3 filters at the same time and this is one of the most important features. This way you know the exact stops that are reduced, to set the correct values ​​in the camera. The ND filters are stackable which is certainly the main difference from a variable ND filter, and it also has an even higher quality. Each filter has a colored handle, which is very useful for quickly selecting the right filter. The construction is made of lightweight aluminum, making it ideal for video use, where portability and ease of use are essential. The filter holder has a locking system that ensures stability and prevents the filters from accidentally falling.
These functions/properties indicate that its nature is mainly dedicated to the video field, but also finds wide application in photography. This type of filter is even perfect for creating long exposure effects, such as the classic "silk effect" of water or in strong light situations.
This kit can also be used on wide-angle lenses given the cross-section and diameter of the filters. It is also possible to place a circular magnetic Kase Revolution CPL filter of 95mm on the front of the holder (this is not included in the kit).
 

The filter holder can be magnetically attached to the included 82mm Armor adapter ring and traditional screw-on adapter rings are included to also use it for 67mm, 72mm and 77mm lens sizes. The stackable filters can be placed horizontally in the holder, not vertically, because then there is a risk of sliding down. There is a lock on the back of the holder, when the filters are in it and you set it to Lock, the filters can be pulled in and out, but not taken out of the holder, this is only possible when the lock is on lock. You can store 3 filters in the holder and they can be used individually or in combination.
The whole thing comes with a handy canvas storage bag.
